Hi.  My name is Sophie.  I'm known as Sophia92703 on ROBLOX, which is a free, online, PC game.

As you can tell by the name of my website, I love MGM's classic, "The Wizard of Oz."  I really don't like the Miss Gulch, or the Wicked Witch of the West, or the Flying Monkeys, but I do like the rest of the characters.

In case you didn't know, the Royal Shakespeare Company ("RSC") used the MGM misspelling, "Miss Gultch;" for their 1987-1989 stage adaption of the movie for Christmas Time at the Barbican Theatre in London.  Although "Miss Gultch," "Professor Marvel," the farmhands, the Flying Monkeys, the Poppies, and the Winkies weren't included in the 1945 St. Louis Municipal Opera ("MUNY") stage version of the movie AND two of the "Oz" books; they were in the Orange County Lyric Opera Theatre's 1974 (which merged the very different MUNY and MGM scripts together, resulting in a mishmash that resembled little of the film and was more close to the MUNY version as possible) and 2001 productions.  However, the theme for "Miss Gultch" is, oddly enough, in the MUNY piano recordings; so many "Oz" directors use the "Miss Gultch" scene from the film in their MUNY version productions.
